Getting to Port Aventura Theme Park

Port Aventura is located in Salou on the Costa Dorada, which lies in the province of Tarragona.

The nearest airport is Reus, which is served by Ryanair, and there are road and rail connections from Barcelona and Valencia.

 

Rail

If you're travelling by train, you'll be glad to hear that Port Aventura Theme Park has its own railway station.

From around 09:00 trains leave Tarragona for Port Aventura theme park every couple of hours for the 10 minute ride.

From Barcelona and Valencia you are best travelling to Tarragona and changing to the train for Port Aventura.

 

 

 

Road

You can get to Port Aventura theme park by taking the AP7 motorway south from Barcelona (in fact you can catch the the AP7 close to the French border), while if you're headed from Valencia you need to follow the AP7 north - Port Aventura theme park is signposted from the motorway.

From further inland you almost certainly want the AP2, followed by the AP7 southbound.
