Flights from the UK to Barcelona
EasyJet paved the way in the mid-90s with cheap, no-frills flights from Luton to Barcelona, but these days you can find flights from the UK to Barcelona from cities all over the country.
EasyJet alone flies to Barcelona from Luton, Stansted, Gatwick, Newcastle, Liverpool, Bristol and East Midlands; and Jet2, with flights from Manchester, Leeds Bradford, and Belfast.
While not offering flights to Barcelona directly, Ryanair has at least been attempting to snap at EasyJet's heals on the UK to Catalunya routes with flights from Stansted to Girona and Reus. Both airports are about 90 minutes to 2 hours by bus from Barcelona and although slightly inconvenient Ryanair's flights can be dirt cheap. Despite the inconvenience they do run a bus service from both Girona and Reus to Barcelona city centre.

Air Scotland has made Barcelona accessible to the Scots, flying directly from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen to Girona. They also have flights from Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Doncaster, Newcastle, Norwich and Southampton to Girona as well as Manchester direct to Barcelona and Girona.
