Barcelona metro tickets
There are several different types of ticket available for use in the metro. Here we look at what is available and how to get the best out of each.
Types of ticket

The T-10 card is one of the most useful cards for public transport in Barcelona, with a zone 1 card, covering Barcelona city, costing €6.65 for 10 journeys. An additional benefit is that a journey involving the metro and bus counts for one journey providing that the journey finishes within 1h 15m of the card being validated and one ticket can be used for 2 or more people providing it is validated for each person.

The T-Dia card is a single day card allowing an unlimited number of journeys on metro, bus and train. Zone 1 tickets are currently €5.00.

A single ticket costs €1.20 and can be used for a single journey on the metro or bus.

|
Travel cards are available for an unlimited number of journeys over 2-5 consecutive days for the metro, bus, train (zone 1) and tram. The cards costs: 2-day €9.20, 3-day €13.20, 4-day €16.80 and 5-day €20.00.

The TC-Day card allows day-trippers to Barcelona to leave their cars at the car park at Glòries and make an unlimited number of journeys by metro and bus. The card is valid Monday-Saturday and can be purchased at Glòries car park for €5.30.
