Barcelona golf - Masia Bach Golf Club

Catalunya really is the ideal place to combine the pleasures of a Mediterranean climate with the chance to play on some of the finest golf courses in the world.

And if you'd like to play a round or two of golf while visiting Barcelona you'll be happy to know that just 27 kilometres from the city, in the shadow of the Monserrat mountains, is the Masia Bach Golf Club.

With breathtaking scenery, the club has two José Maria Olazábal designed courses.

The first course, which was used in the 1991 Spanish Championships, is an 18-hole, par 72 course of 6271 metres, where you'll have the opportunity to try all your strokes.

The second 9-hole course is par 31 and while not so challenging, will allow you to enjoy the natural surroundings.

The club also provides an array of other facilities, from tennis and gym to a restaurant and kindergarten.

Please note that Catalan courses require players to wear soft spikes and you won't be allowed to play unless you do.

Summer: 09:00-20:00
