Accommodation in Barcelona

Although the majority of visitors to Barcelona will make a hotel reservation for their stay in Barcelona, there are several different accommodation options that are also worth considering.

There are a considerable number of refurbished apartments available for holiday lets of 2 or 3 nights, which offer a comfortable alternative to a hotel, although you should make sure that any booking you make is through reputable agency.

Another option is in one of the so-called aparthotels, offering the convenience of both a hotel and private apartment and these can be booked from the normal hotel websites.

And the low budget option, normal for backpackers and students, is to stay in a hostel. You may not have any privacy, but at least you'll have a bed and roof for the duration of your stay, and if price is more important than comfort then what more could you ask?
